Courtesy Call on Prime Minister Shinzo Abe by Mr. Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah, President of the House of Counsellors of the Kingdom of Morocco

TOKYO, Japan, September 12, 2014/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- Today, on September 9, commencing at 6:05 p.m. for approximately 15 minutes, Mr. Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah, President of the House of Counsellors of the Kingdom of Morocco, who was visiting Japan upon invitation from H.E. Mr. Masaaki Yamazaki, President of the House of Councillors. An overview of the meeting is as follows:

1. Prime Minister Abe welcomed President Biadillah's visit to Japan, praising a fact that Japan and Morocco have been developing friendly and cooperative relations over a long period of time, including the relationship between the Imperial Family of Japan and the Royal Family of Morocco.

2. President Biadillah first expressed his sympathy for all the victims of the landslide disaster in Hiroshima. Subsequently, President Biadillah extended his gratitude for various support and cooperation from Japan to Morocco and expressed his hope that the Fourth Japan-Arab Economic Forum to be held in Morocco this year will be a success for the enhancement of investment between the two countries. President Biadillah also stated the issue of immigrants and terrorism in regions, and other issues Morocco is facing.

3. Finally, Prime Minister Abe stated that he hopes that the relationship between Japan and Morocco will be deepened and that the economic relationship between the two countries will be even more active in the process of the Japanese economic growth.
