PDP Updates Zonal Integration Committee List, Includes South East Governors, Others

BEVERLY HILLS, September 11, (THEWILL) - The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday updated the party's zonal integration committee list to include more party elders.

Apologising for what it described as their unintended  omission in an earlier published list, the party in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, particularly apologised to leaders and critical stakeholders of the party in the

South East geo-political zone.
“Particularly, the national leadership apologises to the Chairman of South-East Governors' Forum, His Excellency, Governor Theodore Orji of. Abia state who we have immense respect for. We also apologise to the humble and mature Governor of Ebonyi state, His Excellency, Governor Martin Elechi and the hard-working Governor of Enugu State, His. Excellency, Governor Sullivan Chime on behalf of our entire members and. stakeholders in the South East.

“In the light of the foregoing, the following leaders are hereby. specially included in the list.

They are: His Excellency, Governor Theodore Orji, the Executive Governor of. Abia State and Chairman, South East Governors' Forum;His Excellency, Governor Martin Elechi, the Executive Governor of. Ebonyi State; His Excellency, Governor Sullivan Chime, the Executive Governor of Enugu. State;His Excellency, Chief Jim Nwobodo, former Governor of Old Anambra. State; and Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu, former National Vice Chairman, South East zone,” the statement said.
