Anioma Group Appoints Coordinator For Lagos Chapter

SAN FRANCISCO, September 10, (THEWILL) - The Umu Anioma Foundation has announced the appointment of Chief John Nwafor as a Board Member and Coordinator of the Lagos Chapter.

'Chief John Nwafor's appointment to the Board of Umu Anioma Foundation is very important as he brings extensive experience and adds the necessary leadership and depth that will help us drive our short term goals of Delta State Governor of Anioma origin in 2015 and the Creation of Anioma State as the 37th State in Nigeria,' said Prince Emmanuel O. Ohai, Convener of Umu Anioma Worldwide said in a statement Tuesday.

'I have worked with Chief John Nwafor in the past, and have the utmost respect for his experience and accomplishments, and we have developed close and trusted relationships with each other that will enable us and other Umu Anioma leaders to cohesively manage the changes required to get our great Anioma peoples to the Promised Land,' he added.

The statement said, Nwafor, works for a leading International Energy Company that is present in more than 30 countries around the world as an ICT Manager. Currently, he is the President of Aniocha South Development Union, Lagos Branch and a Branch Chairman of The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN. In his new role as Lagos Chapter Coordinator, Chief Nwafor will be assuming the duties that were performed by the Umu Anioma National Coordinator emeritus, His Royal Majesty Obi Charles Chukwunwike Anyasi III who has since assumed a new 'Father' role to Umu Aniomas worldwide.
