Bindow Emerges APC Governorship Candidate For Adamawa

BEVERLY HILLS, September 07, (THEWILL) - Senator Muhammad Jibrillah Bindow Sunday won the Adamawa governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) after polling 2718 votes to defeat his closest rival, Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji (2268).

Senator Bindow, who is from the Adamawa North Senatorial district just like the candidate of the PDP, Acting Governor Umaru Fintiri will square up at the Governorship election slated for October 11, 2014.

According to the results of the APC primary which was declared by chairman of the electoral committee, Dr Garba Abari, Boss Mustapha polled 515 votes to come third while Yakubu Tsala polled 187 votes to come fourth.
