Fintiri Wins Adamawa PDP Primary

SAN FRANCISCO, September 07, (THEWILL) - Acting Governor of Adamawa State, Mr. Umaru Fintiri has won the Governorship primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State conducted on Sunday morning.

Fintiri polled 624 votes to emerge victorious defeating his closest rival, Ahmed Modibo ‎who polled 197 votes.

The Adamawa governorship election is slated for October 11, 2014.
