2015 Imo Guber Election: Owerri North APC begins sensitization, Drums Support for Gov Okorocha

As the 2015 Governorship election in Imo State draws closer, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Owerri North local government are of Imo State, Nigeria has embarked on radical sensitization campaign to bring electorates to par in ensuring the consolidation of Governor Rochas Okorocha's giant strides in the state.


The dual events held at the Comprehensive Secondary School and Mount Camel Catholic Church Emekuku respectively attracted dignitaries from all walks of life among whom is the Chief of Staff/Commissioner for Special Duties, Sir Jude Ejiogu who is the Apex Leader of Owerri Federal Constituency and an indigene of Emekuku, Owerri North LGA.


In his speech, the Chief of Staff, Sir Jude Ejiogu maintained that the people of Owerri North have resolved to make the All Progressives Congress the only better alternative geared towards bringing smiles on the faces of Imolites and called on other LGAs in the state to cue into the programme.


The Apex Leader of Owerri Federal Constituency, expressed optimism on the rate of followership and support the state government is receiving prior to the 2015 general election promising that Governor Rochas Okorocha's administration would not leave any stone unturned in ensuring the delivery of dividends of democracy.


He appealed to members of APC in Owerri North to remain resolute in their guest to revamp good perception on politics in the country saying that the present government led by Governor Okorocha has given Imolites every reason to celebrate governance.


Furthering, Sir Ejiogu therefore urged leaders of APC in Owerri North LGA and the state at large to re-engineer their strategy before the general election in 2015 saying that even though Governor Okorocha does not have any rival as politics unfolds, all hands must be on deck to continue to showcase his good works to the outside world.


Sir Ejiogu while describing Governor Okorocha as a true friend of Owerri people further called on APC party loyalists to go back to their various Wards with the message of good governance being witnessed in the state expressing optimism that the party would emerge victorious in the 2015 poll.


In their separate speeches, state Chairman of APC, Dr. Hilary Ekeh expressed happiness on the mammoth crowed that graced the occasion and urged members to continue to sustain the tempo in ensuring the victory of the party in 2015 election.


For the LGA Party Chairman, Apostle Hilary Ihebom, APC has taken its stand in the council assuring that members would do everything possible to give the candidates contesting under APC platform the deserving support that would earn them victory in 2015 election.
