Adamawa Guber: Ribadu picks forms, says he's not in PDP for automatic ticket

Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has  obtained the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to run for the office of Governor of Adamawa State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The forms were picked on his behalf at the PDP national headquarters, Abuja, by one of his associates, Hamidu Mahmud.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has fixed the governorship election for October 11.

The Chairman of a pressure group, Concerned Youth for Good Governance in Adamawa state, a PDP Pressure group supporting Mr. Ribadu's candidature, Isa Toungo, had informed the press that Ribadu was given a membership card with registration number 1933795.

The former EFCC boss formally joined the PDP in Bako ward of Yola South Local Government on Saturday.
