Madumere Receives Distinguished Service Award

Calls On Politicians To Have The Fear Of God

Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has been honoured for quality leadership and selfless service to God and humanity.

Speaking during a church service earlier today at the Cathedral of Transfiguration of our Lord (CATOL), Owerri, Venerable A.C. Chukwuocha praised Madumere for his leadership qualities, consistency in service to man and God.

While handing over a leadership bible to Prince Madumere, he charged him to read the letters therein as he would find the secret ways of The Lord that will continually enrich his knowledge of God and blessings. Venerable Chukwuocha also handed over an Umbrella to the best deputy governor in the South East, which he said is a reflection God's banner and protection of over him.

Receiving the award, Imo number two citizen thanked the Church for the recognition, the move he said will spur him to even do greater exploit in service to God and humanity. Imo also said that Rescue Mission God led by Owelle Rochas Okorocha has done well because God is in control.

Speaking later with few media hounds, he called on politicians to one unto repentance to God and think less of themselves. He said, "opportunity to serve is an act of God as only God is the giver of power. Over enriching oneself is never the essence but to render service to ameliorate the suffering of the masses. It takes grace and fear of God to remain focused to the set goal of bringing about positive change.

The event witnessed a large number of politicians especially those who had the opportunity to serve in the past and others who are aspiring for one thing or the other.
