President Goodluck Jonathan has summoned an emergency meeting with officials, in a bid to tackle the Ebola virus threat.

This is coming on the heels of federal government statement on Friday that two new cases of Ebola infection have been confirmed in Lagos, which brings to seven new cases of Ebola in Lagos and a second death from the virus.

This is as federal government has warned against bathing with salt water being circulated via SMS and the social media as a cure for Ebola saying it will prosecute individuals who circulates such false information.

It was gathered that 139 people are under surveillance. NAN
