MADUMERE CONDOLES EHIME PEOPLE, FAMILY OVER OGOKE'S PASSING

Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere (MFR) has commiserated with the entire people of Ehime Mbano Local Government of Imo State, the members of Rescue Mission team and Ogoke family over the painful transition of Mrs. Chioma Ogoke, the former Transition Chairman of Ehime Mbano Local Government of Imo State.

Speaking to the mammoth crowd that had throng Ehime Local Government headquarters with the workers in Ehime Mbano Local Government Council headquarters wearing long faces and wailing profusely, Prince Madumere expressed shock over mystery surrounding Mrs. Ogoke's death. He observed that what killed Chioma Ogoke was death and that if money were to be the issue, Chioma could could have lived following great efforts made by Governor Okorocha, the Doctors and many well meaning Imolites who made every effort to save Chioma from dying.

Prince Madumere who said he was in Ehime on Governor's directive and in his capacity testified that late Ogoke was committed to the principles and ideals of Rescue Mission Government. His words; " Chioma stood for the precepts and ideals of Rescue Mission led by our Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha. She showed love to humanity and was a devout Christian who was committed to her faith. Her passing will be deeply felt by all of us."

Meanwhile, earlier in the session, the people of Ehime had thanked Governor Okorocha and his deputy, Prince Eze Madumere for their care and high regard for late Chioma and the people of Ehime Mbano in general. They took turn as they spoke glowingly about late Mrs. Ogoke. Among those who spoke were Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs. Nma Love Onyechere, Chairman, All Progressives Congress, Ehime Mbano Local Government, Hon. Iwu, chairman, Council of Ndi Eze, HRH, Eze Emmanuel Akagu and host of others.

The people called for immortalization of Chioma Ogoke while praying God to provide another leader who will be as good as Chioma Ogoke. In show of their pain the youth whose lives have been affected positively by late Chioma Ogoke were seen with placards with various emotional inscriptions like: Ebeku Ehime, where are you? Ehime, what next, the Iroko has fallen, the Priceless Gift has gone and many other soul touching inscriptions.

Imo Deputy Governor had in his entourage, Hon. Commissioner for Finance, Deacon Chike Okafor, Hon. Commissioner for Education, Dr. Uche Ejiogu, Hon. Commissioner for Pension Affairs and IGR, Mr. Nick Opara-Ndudu among others.
