Three months after the successful hosting of OAU OSCAR® Awards, the organizers of the unprecedented electrifying event, Oscar Nigeria and Ecstasy International, have announced that the train has moved to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH.

The country representative of Ecstasy International, Mr. John Ayodeji, in a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday, said the event is expected to recognize distinguished students, groups, and brands at the Ogbomoso campus of LAUTECH where over 60 students will emerge winners. It will be recalled that the executive governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko was honoured in OAU and decorated the OSCAR® Person of the Year. Other recipients are Airtel Nigeria, Diamond Bank, Nescafe and Orange FM, among several others which included 45 Great Ife students.

The organizers have promised never to go below standard in LAUTECH just as notable figures and brands from the national scene have been tipped to receive the OSCAR® honorary awards. Selected OAU top guns have also been given nod to attend the LAUTECH award classy dinner which has been billed to take place on Friday, August 22nd. Winners from different universities across Nigeria will later compete against each other in December at MUSON Center, Onikan, Lagos where several A-list artistes, comedians, and notable celebrities will also be on ground to spice the event up.
