APC: Give A Dog A Bad Name And Hang Him

When in late 2013, five governors from the ruling PDP decamped to the newly formed APC and about 37 PDP members at the House of Representatives in Abuja decamped to the APC, it was democracy and good governance at play then.

When at the same House of Representatives , Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila of the APC wrongly referred to himself as the Majority Leader in the House and also erroneously referred to Hon. Leo Ogor of the PDP as the Deputy Minority Leader of the House, then it was democracy and good governance at play. There was nothing wrong then at the House of Representatives in as much as it was the APC that was having the upper hand at the time.

All these impurities were going on then all in a ploy to cause an impeachment move against President Goodluck Jonathan who miraculously escaped from the shenanigans being plotted against his government. The APC leadership never saw all these as a ploy to derail our democracy then because they were rest assured that they would be the ultimate beneficiaries of the coup- d'état at the House of Representative Tom Cottonives.

But it is very disturbing nowadays to note that anytime things go wrong in this country, it is either an accusing finger is pointed at the PDP or President Goodluck Jonathan. If Asiwaju's wife refuses him sleep, it is caused by PDP or Jonathan. If Odigie Oyegun's car refuses to start, it is PDP or Jonathan.

If the road to Muhammadu Buhari's Jumaat
Service is blocked due to road construction, it is PDP or Jonathan. If Asiwaju's private jet refuses to fly in the air, it is PDP or Jonathan. If an APC candidate won an election, it is democracy in action. If a PDP candidate won an election, it is either the PDP or Jonathan donated rice or doled out wads of Naira notes.

The current impeachment saga ravaging APC states is being attributed to the influence of the PDP or Jonathan. The Houses of Assembly concerned in the impeachment saga followed due process in their actions, but to the APC and their bottle lickers, it is a 'NO' for them, it is PDP or Jonathan who are sitting in one corner fueling the impeachments in those states. Can't the APC look inward and put its house in order?

Propaganda, blackmail, deceit and innuendos cannot take them anywhere. In organized climes, opposition is not practiced the way APC are playing their own here.

They are only interested in over heating the polity. They are rabble rousers always looking for scapegoats where there is none in order to propagate their 'JANJAWEED'
