ConnectNigeria.com presents its second annual e-Business Fair tagged ''E-business and the Growth of Your Enterprise Part II''. The event will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2014 at Eko Hotel, Lagos. The overall objective is for SMEs to come and learn about how to grow their business using technology as well as to build stronger business network.

Last year the annual business fair recorded over 2,000 visitors at the Orchid Hall, Expo Center, Eko Hotel and Suites on Saturday 26th October 2013. It was aimed at connecting small business owners with service providers such as banks and ICT firms to discuss how to build and harness modern electronic technologies with their business operations.

The keynote address by the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, was presented by his deputy, Mr. Olusuyi Adaramewa. His address is titled 'Importance of a Cashless Society to Economic Growth & Development in Nigeria.'

Representatives from different financial and service institutions such as the Central Bank of Nigeria, Microsoft, Diamond Bank Plc, Google Nigeria, Etranzact, and Pro Works were also present at the event. They were able to cover issues pertaining to the use of electronic systems in business transaction, money transfer, and internet connectivity.

There was a range of sponsors that helped make the first ever e-Business fair possible such as Stanbic IBTC Bank, First Bank, First Monie, Diamond Bank, Leatherworld, and Etranzact.

There was also an amalgam of presentations, as well as a raffle. Prizes including an iPad, desktop printers, car navigation, a Portable Sony Play Station and more were won. However, this year promises greater prizes.

Following last year's success, the upcoming e-Business fair is anticipated to be the biggest SME event in Africa.
