Airtel Nigeria to invest $300m in network expansion

Bharti Airtel is planning to invest $300m this year expanding its network and services in Nigeria, Bloomberg reports.

he report indicates that Airtel plans to increase subscribers in Africa's biggest economy to 30 million by the end of the year.

Nigeria is reportedly the company's biggest market outside India.

Segun Ogunsanya, Head of the Nigeria unit, said: “We have invested so much in marketing research to see what the customers want and we are delivering on those expectations.”
