Madumere Is A Rare Politician Of IntegrityDr. Osuji

A University Don, Dr. Emeka Osuji has added voice to other good Nigerians in extolling the virtues of Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, describing him as rare politician of simplicity and integrity.

Speaking at his home his Ngor-Okpala home yesterday evening, Dr. Osuji averred that Prince Madumere is a rare breed who has refused to be changed by office power. Narrating his recent experience with Imo Deputy Governor, his long time friend, at Murtala Mohammed Airport II, he said he saw a man of simplicity to the extent he could not realize he was sitting opposite a deputy Governor. " I could not believe we still have people like this in politics", he enthused.

He however encouraged Imo number two citizen never to deviate from his philosophy about power, which is transient. He reassured Prince Madumere he will live never to take for granted his brand life style of simplicity and humility. His words," Your Excellency, I will never take for granted your humility and simplicity. You are different from many politicians we have today who live in a world where only themselves themselves. I will plead with you not be in a hurry to leave the stage. You have so much in stock to offer to our State and Nigeria at large".

Speaking earlier, Prince Madumere thanked Dr. Osuji for his friendship and encouragement. He assured Dr. Osuji and other guests that he will remain the same as their friend and humble servant.

He also paid glowing tributes on late mother of Dr. Emeka Osuji who he described as a devout christian who groomed her children in the way of the Lord. He reminded the family to always relive those cherished values bequeathed to them by late Celine Osuji.
