Tales From New Orleans And The Universal Message All Homo Sapiens Should Learn

'For God Almighty so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son to the world that through Him the world would be saved and those who believed in the Son'

Everything in heaven and on earth and underneath them were created by the Lord God Almighty as the Word of Life begins the story of life IN Genesis 1: 1; 'In the beginning, God created' Satan and his demons are creatures and thus have no creative powers. Satan hates God; he hates human beings the more, because unlike you and I who could tap into the Grace-that is, the unmerited favor of the Jehovah Lord God Almighty, confess our sins by accepting our Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (Romans 10: 9-10) and escape hell, Satan and his demons are lost forever. Because of their rebellion and disobedience to their Maker and Creator, never again will Satan and his demons partake of life under the heavens. They have lost favor with their Maker.

Satan and his demons are lost forever and this is why Satan and his demons ferociously loathe human beings and are wickedly determined to drag as many souls as possible to the Nether Gloom, which is their eternal abode. One of the ways through which the fiendish forces of darkness pollute and enlist gullible and disobedient human beings to their anti-God project is through the art. Since Satan and his demons are implacable foes of the True Lord Good, they have succeeded in employing all the good that the Maker has made to serve their evil ends.

Listen carefully to the music you listen to; examine the movies you watch at home and at the theater; the artwork and souvenirs you bring to your home; and use the discerning power of the Holy Spirit to distinguish between the profane and the Holy.

The Lord God Almighty gave the powers for all kinds of artistic works and ideas to Bezalel and Oholiab of the tribes of Judah and Dan respectively according to Exodus 31: 1-6: 'Then the LORD said to Moses, 'See, I have chosen Bezalelson of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skillsto make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts.

Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you:' so they could serve Him. The Lord God also gave the powers of music and entertainment to the Asaph Brothers (1 Chronicles 25: 1); David and other writers of Psalms to praise worship and glorify Him.

Consequently, if you are a painter, a sculptor, a musician, an artist, an author, a writer, a filmmaker and a member of the artistic community; if your works are limited simply to aesthetics and entertainment, you are not using your God-given talents for your Creator. You will be judged on that Day. If Satan and his demons have deceived you that your talents are from you and hoodwinked you to use your God-given talents to praise, worship and glorify Satan and his demons here on earth; the Owner and Creator of the talents will ask you to give account on how you use His talents when you appear before Him on the Day of Judgment.

As Romans 14: 10b-16 disclosed: 'For we will all stand before God's judgment seat. It is written: ''As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me, every tongue will acknowledge God. So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.' You may poke fun at this True Lord God and shake your fist at Him now and hate anything that has to do with Him, in spite of all that He has done for you; but as soon as you close your eyes and die, I can guarantee you that you'll account for your life whether you like it or not.

Nowhere is this reality of using art to serve Satan and his demons on earth than what I saw in New Orleans penultimate week. Music, art and the rest are not neutral in the affairs of human beings and the current spiritual warfare between the forces of God and Satan for the souls of human beings. Each time I watch any movie, or listen to a particular song or watch an artist or examine any work of art: sculptor, artwork or souvenir, I am sensitive to the unction of the Holy Spirit to discern whose praise, glory and worship is the originator of the work of art promoting?

I love three movies of all times and beyond their artistic appeal and entertainment quality are the subliminal messages they promote. If you have watched James Bond's 1973 classic; Live and Let Die written by British novelist, Ian Lancaster Fleming directed by Guy Hamilton which premiered Sir Roger George Moore (now 87 years old) as the iconic M16 British agent, you will recall that half of the events in the movie took place in New Orleans, Louisiana.

I had looked forward to trace those footsteps of the characters in the classic since I first watched the movie in Africa over thirty years ago: the street where the first M16 British agent was murdered; Mr. Big/Dr Kananga's Fillet of Soul restaurants in New Orleans (played by Yaphet Frederick Koto), the crocodile farm where James Bond was to be eaten as arranged by Dr Kananga's one-armed goon; Tee Hee Johnson, the voodoo shops and the boat racing mounted by the Louisiana State Police led by Sherriff Pepper and all the other scenes are still traceable in Old New Orleans.

Although the Hurricane Tragedy of 2005 that killed scores and wrought unimaginable tragedy on this historic city of the South might have affected these locales, yet people of the Big Easy are resilient and have rebuilt. As my wife and I moved around the French Quarters where most of the horrific impact of the tragedy occurred, one can still smell the acrid and pungent devastation of Hurricane Katrina Tragedy. The voodoo shops haven't disappeared; the brothels and pussycat a go-go strip tease and clubs are still operating. I told my wife that we should pray while passing through this demon-infested area of New Orleans, even though this is the area of the ancient city the best foods and delicacies can be found.

I saw in New Orleans what I have never seen in any city in my life, even in seedy Central Lagos or demon-infested Ipodo Area of Ikeja on Lagos Mainland. Here, the demons of sex perversion, and sexual deviancy and debauchery run amok and will announce to you they are in charge here. Larry Flynt and his Hustler House of Porn assail the human soul and torment the spiritual nervous system of any child of God. Up till date, I haven't read in any quality publication of the spiritual dimension of the Hurricane Katrina Tragedy of 2015, except the honest spiritual analyses offered by Pastor Pat Robertson on the 700 Club and Pastor John Hagee of John Hagee Ministry, Texas.

The Lord God Almighty warned the Israelites that when they sinned and refused to confess their disobedience to Him and repent, one of the ways through which He would punish them was via nature. In any family, town, city, region, or nation, where there is widespread sin and disobedience to the True Lord God Almighty; where demonic activities are rampant and the people refused to repent; this is how the True Lord God Almighty disclosed He would show His displeasure at such sinful activities so that human beings can repent and change their evil ways as disclosed in Amos 4: 6-14: 'I gave you empty stomachs in every city and lack of bread in every town,yet you have not returned to me,'declares the LORD.

I also withheld rain from you when the harvest was still three months away.I sent rain on one town,but withheld it from another.One field had rain;another had none and dried up.People staggered from town to town for waterbut did not get enough to drink,yet you have not returned to me,'declares the LORD.'Many times I struck your gardens and vineyards,destroying them with blight and mildew.Locusts devoured your fig and olive trees,yet you have not returned to me,'declares the LORD.'I sent plagues among youas I did to Egypt.I killed your young men with the sword,along with your captured horses.I filled your nostrils with the stench of your camps,yet you have not returned to me,'declares the LORD.'I overthrew some of youas I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.You were like a burning stick snatched from the fire,yet you have not returned to me,'declares the LORD.'Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel,and because I will do this to you, Israel,prepare to meet your God.'He who forms the mountains,who creates the wind,and who reveals his thoughts to mankind,who turns dawn to darkness,and treads on the heights of the earththe LORD God Almighty is his name.'

Famine and starvation, drought, tornadoes, earthquakes, flood, moon slide, bad harvest, hurricane, pestilence, locust invasion, plagues, infant mortality, murders and rebellion, volcanic eruption, gang and gang-related activities among our kids; incessant school shootings as we see all over the United States in recent times, terror and terrorist activities and other vices that have invaded America and our world are not just ordinary events and phenomena.

No one would witness what I saw in New Orleans two weeks ago and not be surprised at how Satan and his demons have invaded our world and are assiduously drawing many gullible and disobedient souls to hell in droves. Many human beings are spiritually blind and our descent to the cesspit of evil and Satanism continues to embolden Satan and his demons to step up their evil acts to destroy as many human souls as possible in these end times.

In New Orleans, a tourist is spiritually assailed, bombarded and tormented by stark evil and only those with the Spirit of God can see beyond the superficial human activities going on and cry to a loving and merciful Lord God to save souls. From one street to the other, alley and avenue, drive to boulevard to Cul- de- sac at the French Quarters, all those abominable satanic practices and demonic activities the Lord God Almighty warned us to steer clear of torment your spirit and assail your soul nakedly in the Big Easy.

In Leviticus 19: 26, the True Lord God Almighty warned: "'Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it. "'Do not practice divination or seek omens.' In Deuteronomy 18: 10-13 the Supreme Lord God Almighty of the heavens and the universe commanded: 'Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.

Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD; because of these same detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God.' In Africa, Latin America and among the indigenous peoples of the world; while these abominable and demonic activities are carried out in deceptive niceties, in New Orleans, they're carried out in plain sight.

In the Big Easy, you can consult a fortune teller in a whiff; and instead of consulting a psychic, you can easily buy your own Ouija board and take a demon home; in New Orleans, you can practice witchcraft and purchase your voodoo doll and there are no restraints in voodoo initiations and demonic practices. While witches, wizards, warlocks, voodoo practitioners and their allies hide in the day time and wait for their clients to consult them at night in Africa, Haiti, Benin Republic, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, India and other climes; the unbridled freedom we all enjoy in the United States give you latitude 'to do your demonic things in the daylight and 24/7' in the City of the Big Easy.

If you're spiritually-blind and doubt the existence of Satan because you think you're sophisticated, educated and urbane, you are spiritually-blind and ignorant. If you discount the powers of witches, wizards and voodoo in the world, and think they are the scuttlebutts of indigenous peoples of Africa, Latin America and Asia, let me take you to New Orleans so that witches, wizards, warlocks and demonic amanuenses can cast spells on your life and place a curse on you and you're finished forever. The putrefying odorous of Satan and demons reek so intimidating and suffocating that my wife and I had to be careful of the type of souvenirs we brought back from the City of Big Easy to the City of Big Shoulders.

Modern technology has given us a lot in life, especially on how we communicate and interact with one another around the world. While life is lived better under modern technology, for those with spiritual insights, we are not fooled of the prospects of the anti-Christ in employing this modern device for his selfish interests in accordance with scripture. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us a heads up about this eschatological event in the end times. The signs are unfolding daily and if you have been a victim of hackers on the Internet as I am recently, please watch out.

Please examine and scrutinize your email very well when you receive any message purportedly from me. Look at my signature line and watch out for my picture which I also use for my weekly column here. I don't send unsolicited email to people I don't know and when I send our notices about my weekly column, I do so via the social media without any attachment. Although I do not have the power to monitor how my email notices are resent to meta-clients, but know that I will never send any email attachment to you if there is no prior contact and communication between us. Just delete such email with attachments purportedly from yours sincerely.

Please also rest assured that I do not send distress email out to people, because the protective Hands of the Lord God Almighty are over me continuously that I can't find myself in a fix necessitating bail out from people. But what baffles me is that God who revealed her wickedness to you could not give you the power and authority to defeat her. Evil and wickedness thrive in our society because God allows it to happen. Why would God let evil- doers live longer than the righteous ones still beat my imagination? Why should we pray for Evil doers to repent instead of sending the Holy Ghost fire to consume them? I have fasted and prayed for not both of them to confess and die, but also for others in the village to die, yet it seems my prayers were like pouring water on the stones. It isn't true that God Almighty allows evil people to thrive against fellow human beings. Now there are other spiritual truths that I want to bring to your notice on spiritual warfare as it pertains to the issues you raised about calling on the Holy Spirit fire to consume your enemies. First, your spiritual warfare should be directed at making sure the evil plans they have been doing will come to naught. You can't be a soldier in a war and at the same time a judge. You should know that this uncle of yours and his wife actually have no powers but are mere lapdogs of Satan and his demons. In our book: 'The Kingdom of Satan Exposed: Activities of Principalities and Demon Worship in our World Today,' we explained how these gullible and disobedient children of Adam and Eve are deceived by demons to give them the impression that they are powerful whereas the demons are the ones actually manipulating these witches and wizards the other way round.

There is only one enemy that we have and his name is Satan as 1 Peter 5: 8 disclosed:'Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.' Even the demons using human beings operate at the behest of Satan so when you attack Satan's minions instead of their master, your warfare is misdirected. You can't take on your satanic uncle and his wife on your own rather you must follow our Lord Jesus Christ's command as your military general as stated in James 4: 7 thus: 'Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.'So the question you should ask yourself is: Have you totally submitted to your military general, the Lord Jesus Christ first before you start fighting Satan and his demons and their human agents to wit: your uncle and his wife?

Remember what Jesus Christ told us His followers in John 15: 5:"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.' Our Lord Jesus Christ never instructed us to kill our enemies but render them powerless so they can know that the Power of Jesus Christ in us is greater than the satanic powers that are using them. When power confronts power, there will be power disequilibrium. Are you yourself truly a born-again child of the True Living God? Are you totally obedient to Jesus Christ? Do you have any known sin in your life that you are dealing with? The principles of true spiritual warfare as outlined in the Holy Bible are straightforward and unambiguous, thus if you adhere to those principles, no Satan, demon, witch uncle or wizard can harm you. Why are all these things happening in Nigeria? Simple; Nigeria has shed so much blood, innocent blood and injustice has become the order of the day that no nation that allows such injustice to persist can thrive. Here is what the Jehovah Lord God Almighty said of Israel and why He must judge the nation in Isaiah 3: 11-12: 'Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done. Youths oppress my people, women rule over them. My people, your guides lead you astray; they turn you from the path.'

I don't know how old you are my sister, but if you are old enough to know the atrocities of the Nigerian-Biafra Civil War of 1967-1970; the innocent lives that were lost and wasted in political crises; the numbers of unresolved politically-motivated murders, innocent journalists killed and under-reported in the media and countless souls killed and murdered by religious fanatics, especially Christians, you will understand the current morass in Nigeria. When you add the level of corruption, stealing, larceny, maladministration and other malfeasances by past and present Nigerian leaders to all the injustices and oppression, you will then know how Nigeria has come full circle. In 2 Kings 2: 16, the Jehovah Lord God Almighty catalogued all the evils that had been committed by Israel citing Hezekiah's son, Manasseh as a classic example of the zenith of evil committed by His people in 2 Kings 21: 11 thus: "Manasseh king of Judah has committed these detestable sins.

He has done more evil than the Amorites who preceded him and has led Judah into sin with his idols,' and continued in 2 Kings 21: 15: 'they have done evil in my eyes and have aroused my anger from the day their ancestors came out of Egypt until this day,' (and)'including the shedding of innocent blood. For he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood and the Lord was not willing to forgive.' (2 Kings 24:4).

If Nigerians knew the number of innocent blood that was destroyed between 1985 and 1993 in that country, especially those that were never reported by the media, our hearts would bleed. Yes, it is good to pray that the True Jehovah Lord God should forgive our sins as a people and a nation, but when a nation continues to shed innocent blood and takes pleasure in such acts and the leaders believe that they can get away with it, there comes a time God's Judgment must be executed. It is not all the time that the Mercy Door of God will remain perpetually open. Consequently, here are the declarations of the True Jehovah Lord God Almighty on Nigeria as He did to sinful Israel in Ezekiel 9: 9:"The sin of the people of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great; the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of injustice.

They say, 'The Lord has forsaken the land; the Lord does not see,' (but) 'you have become guilty because of the blood you have shed and have become defiled by the idols you have made. You have brought your days to a close, and the end of your years has come. Therefore I will make you an object of scorn to the nations and a laughingstock to all the countries' (Ezekiel 22: 4). If God's Judgment fell on Israel, because of their sins, Nigeria cannot escape Divine Judgment as well, because '"I the Lord do not change,' (Malachi 3: 6), because 'For God does not show favoritism,' (Romans 2: 11).
