Bishop Hilary O. Okeke Of Nnewi Is Honoured With Four Books Dedicated To His Life

The life, work, writings and ministry of Most Rev. Hilary Okeke, Catholic Bishop of Nnewi was the focus of four books presented to mark the tenth anniversary of his Episcopal Ministry. The event at the Assumption Cathedral Nnewi, was well attended.

HE Gov. Peter Obi joined the many guests in paying tribute to Bishop Okeke. Th Governor said through his representative, Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze, Secretary to the State Government that "Bishop Okeke was a genuinely caring man, who has dedicated himself to the service of God and his fellow men through the application of justice and the rule of law."

The four volumes presented on the occasion dealt mainly with the role of the church in the family, the law and the society.
