APOSTLE DAVID ZILLY AGGREY: THE AMAZING ACTS OF GOD (3)
What do you think of the servant of God Apostle David Zilly Aggrey and what God is doing through him At Royal House of Grace International Church? This cannot just be make up happenings. The testimonies attest to this, that Apostle David Zilly Aggrey indeed is a man sent from God, called with a mandate and in carrying out this mandate through the preaching of the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ lives has been impacted positively. Institutions and society have also received this grace to enthroning and sustaining political leaders, traditional institutions and governments at different levels. In keeping with Bible tradition, a man can do nothing except it be given by God and no one take this honour to himself. Apostle David Zilly Aggrey may not say it himself but as eye witness who have also benefitted from his ministry in so many ways, l can say truly, Apostle Zilly Aggrey is not just the Prince of Peachers but also a called apostle in class of the New Testament apostles and a true prophet, Evangelist, Pastor-Teacher with signs, miracles and wonders following his ministry.
Apostle Ziily-The Mandate: At 9.00pm on 1st June 1991 at the Commonwealth Institute, London, England, the word of the Lord came expressly to Apostle Zilly Aggrey saying “Go back to your Jerusalem and gather the outcasts of Israel, the distressed, the discounted, those in debts and l will give you the Davidic anointing and you will turn them into a mighty army”. Rev. Augustine Essien and Stanley Ogbonda were present at this meeting in which the Lord instructed that this gathering would be a pure ministry of grace. The Lord did not say when and how this would come about but because of his personal commitment, dedication and emotional attachment to the Church of God Mission where he was serving at the time as an assistant pastor, Apostle Zilly Aggrey believed this assignment would begin whenever he is put in charge of a branch of Church of God Mission. However, on August 2nd 1991, he notified his Father-in-the Lord, Archbishop Benson Idahosa of his intention to leave Church of God Mission to pursue the word he received from the Lord.
For a servant who had publicly stood up to declare that he would never leave the Church of God Mission, it was not only a question of loyalty and integrity, but a heart rendering step. In January 1992, Apostle Zilly went back to London where he had planned to remain. He spent time waiting on the Lord while in London and on 1st March 1992, the Lord gave a confirmation: Go back to your Jerusalem. March 6th came and he packed his bag and returned to Nigeria to continue his waiting and on the 31st of March 1992, he embarked on 40 days fast with Bishop Willy Bunting. Zilly started his ministry, Royal House of Grace International Church in October 30th 1992 and today, oversees the multi-faceted network of ministries with its headquarters on Graceland Avenue, Rumueme, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Apostle Zilly is a visionary and missionary leader with over-riding passion to see that the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ transforms in America, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and various parts of the African continent. He is the current Chairman, Rivers State Christian Association of Nigeria and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria; President, International Church Impact Conference (ICIC), Member, Australia/African Alliance, President of International Network of Apostolic Churches and Ministries (INTERACT) and Advanced Civil Rights Initiative. Former National Vice Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (Youth Committee). He is representing President Jonathan Goodluck on the Presidential Committee on Christian Pilgrimage to Israel. He is appointed to Bayelsa State Post-Flood Committee by Governor Seriake Dickson. Zilly is a Counselor and adviser to [political leaders. Thousands of youths look up to him as role model.
He is an outstanding advocate for peace, justice and believes in the Nigerian nation project. He is committed to human advancement, using the word of God as a tool for turning the destinies of people all over the world towards positive realties. In Nigeria, he runs a Radio and Television programme, the “Positive Force” and the “Prophetic Watch” respectively. Zilly is the author of the great book “Prophetic Principles for National Transformation” now in the library of the Princeton University and the Yale University in the United States of America and a dynamic life transforming book “The Ten Commandments of time” and other books. Apostle Aggrey, an active golfer and his wife Pastor Gladys with six children reside in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Apostle Zilly-The Messenger and Servant that God uses in His diverse ways: When God calls any one he equips him in an unusual manner. When he called Moses he equipped him. Like Joshua, Elijah, Elisha to Peter, John, Paul etc. were all backed by God when He called and commissioned them. In the same vein, when He called His servant and commissioned Him, he anointed him in an extra-ordinary manner. And this anointing upon the servant of God has produced outstanding miracles in the life of many people in every crannies of the earth where he has taken the gospel of our Lord Jesus to. There are thousands with similar testimonies about God using this human instrument that it will take many volumes of Books if all were to be written. But this few are just to spice your faith in God that He uses human instrument. Here are some of the excerpts from the testimonies of believers who are beneficiaries to the Ministry of God’s humble servant:
(1) Mr. Samuel Jonathan (Trumpeter) - Changed life, prosperous business and family: “I joined Royal House of Grace International Church on August 1996. I had no money. I was living in one room with only mat inside it. I was trekking, with nothing to show for as a man. But today, through the prayers and ministrations of our daddy, Apostle Zilly Aggrey the Lord changed my life. I became born again Christian and was baptized in 1997 in water and later Holy Spirit baptism. Things started to change and become easy. In 1999 God blessed me with the first motorcycle in my life. It was a Honda cub 50, brand new. In 2000 l packed out of the one room to two rooms. My business also witnessed a major turnaround. In 2002 God blessed me with my own wife; l also had my first son in 2003 December. In February 2004 after prayer and fasting that was conducted at the Church at the instance of our father in the Lord, God moved us into 2 bedroom apartments and also blessed me with a land. I bought an Audi 80car which was my first car. A year later, God gave a Volkswagen wagon pick up that l used for business. My business started doing well more than before. In 2006 God gave us our second child. In 2007, l laid foundation on my land, l started building on the land and today my family and l are landlords I also bought a new land that year at Oyigbo. In 2008 God gave us a Nissan blue bird that my wife was using. On 2009 God gave us another Volkswagen bus. Also my wife recorded her 1st album which she launched in the year 2011. Still in that same 2011 l bought a new shop for my business area. In that same year God blessed me with two Jeeps in February and September. Now in 2012 l bought land at my village which l have fenced this February and by the grace of God, the work is going on gradually. Now l have three children. Two sons and a daughter. What more can l ask from God, if not to thank him for bringing me into Royal House of Grace International Church and making me have a father like Apostle Zilly Aggrey. He is a father indeed”
(2) Rossanah Alfred – Favour, Good health and Children academic success: “Since l joined this Church in 1993, God has been so wonderful to me and my family through the grace and favour that flows through his servant, Apostle Zilly Aggrey. My children are all graduates and l am sound in health. This God of my father, Apostle Zilly Aggrey is renewing my age every day. I say may His name alone be glorified in Jesus name. Amen”
(3) Princess Helen Aggrey – The Divine call, the name “Aggrey” open doors for our family: “By the grace of God l am a witness of God’s call upon the life of the servant of God, Apostle Zilly Aggrey…with humility and glory to God God has used him to take the family name “Aggrey” to several Nations of the world. Here in Nigeria, just at the mention of the name Aggrey wherever you go opens doors for us as members of the family. Initially when he gave his lfe to Christ in 1985 and became very zealous in the service of God and would not do anything in the house than to go to church and preach the gospel, we members of the family persecuted him. As for me even though he became born again through a book l got from our late Papa Idahosa’s crusade in Port Harcourt titled “Healing from Christ” written by T. L. Osborn. L wanted him to go to the university because Zilly had an excellent and automatic brain from childhood as he was always taking 1st and 2nd and 3rd positions in class. …We all decided to leave him alone to serve his God. A significant thing happened at his graduation at All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, Benin City. On that faithful day at the graduation ceremony when he was given the microphone to speak as the senior prefect of the School in that large crowd, the audience was held spell bound and our late Papa Benson Idahosa stood up, took him by his hand and presented Zilly to the congregation and said that we should watch this young man that the world would hear of him.Thereafter, Papa Idahosa brought out mint Naira notes from his pocket and poured them all on him and prophesied over him that he will never lack finances in his work with God and also offer Zilly automatic scholarship to come back to the School for his next degree course. In fact, it gives me great pleasure as l sit back to write and to recall the goodness and faithfulness of God we had enjoyed as a family from that time till date”
(4) Dr. Lewis Akpogena – Restoration after 24years wilderness sojourn through Apostle Zilly Aggrey’s prophetic declaration: “Exactly 24 years ago at Stockton, California something happened that halted the progressive rise l had studying in the University as well working as Director of a Rescue Mission Ministry with two cars and having white men as my driver to School and work. Lived flamboyantly in pride and careless inspite that from humble and poor family background God picked me up gave me scholarship under late Papa Benson Idahosa and Archbishop Apena to study in United States of America. The incident led to my coming back to Nigeria leaving my properties and cherished books that fill two room apartments to sought things out in Nigeria only to come back to be engulfed in a crisis with the Church that impeded my rising and performance inspite of the gifting and outstanding academic and ministerial performance that brought me a lot of accolade and recognitions.
With two Phds in Religious Education, Education Management, Missions/Intercultural Studies and many other professional courses, l taught in the University in the U.S. as associate Professor, worked in the rescue mission as Director and still a student. What more an indiscretion brought me down. Being through much in the wilderness sojourn from Church to church, associated and worked with senior great servants of God but to God’s glory on 30th December 2012 at the Church service during a powerful and incisive ministration by Apostle Zilly Aggrey as he was ministering suddenly turn on me under strong prophetic unction made prophetic declarations that what l lost in 24 years God has restored to me. I was dazzled. I felt God’s power as never before, release and freedom in my spirit. Excited that the burden, yoke that kept me down have been broken and destroyed, now my rising and restoration is final. Though Papa Benson Idahosa prayed for me before this was the day l actually got freedom from all sets of impediments to my rising.
Apostle Zilly Aggrey never knew what it was. With sincere apology to him that l had despised him in my heart before when God asked me to go to him and understudy him before the takeoff of our next phase of our ministry. I had felt Zilly far my junior what was it he was going to teach me and his Church was not the happenings mega church making wave. God proved me wrong. Since l came every service and ministration by Apostle Zilly Aggrey has made me encounter God in realm and level that l have not experienced before. To God be the glory!” What more?
