ARCHBISHOP BENSON IDAHOSA

“REMIND PEOPLE to be submissive to [their] magistrates and authorities, to be obedient, to be prepared and willing to do any upright and honorable work, To slander or abuse or speak evil of no one, to avoid being contentious, to be forbearing (yielding, gentle, and conciliatory), and to show unqualified courtesy toward everybody. For we also were once thoughtless and senseless, obstinate and disobedient, deluded and misled; [we too were once] slaves to all sorts of cravings and pleasures, wasting our days in malice and jealousy and envy, hateful (hated, detestable) and hating one another.

But when the goodness and loving-kindness of God our Savior to man [as man] appeared, He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy S pirit, Which He poured out [so] richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. [And He did it in order] that we might be justified by His grace (by His favor, wholly undeserved), [that we might be acknowledged and counted as conformed to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action], and that we might become heirs of eternal life according to [our] hope. This message is most trustworthy, and concerning these things I want you to insist steadfastly, so that those who have believed in (trusted in, relied on) God may be careful to apply themselves to honorable occupations and to doing good, for such things are [not only] excellent and right [in themselves], but [they are] good and profitable for the people.

But avoid stupid and foolish controversies and genealogies and dissensions and wrangling about the Law, for they are unprofitable and futile. [As for] a man who is factious [a heretical sectarian and cause of divisions], after admonishing him a first and second time, reject [him from your fellowship and have nothing more to do with him], Well aware that such a person has utterly changed (is perverted and corrupted); he goes on sinning [though he] is convicted of guilt and self-condemned.”(Titus 3:1-11, Amp.).

This is a personal response to the Confessions of Benedict Chukwuemeka in ENDTIME Journal International vol.16 No. 6 edition entitled: “Ex-Olumba Olumba Pastor Exposes Secrets of the Church” – “reveals other men of God who come to them for power and alleges that late Idahosa was killed”. My response is based on personal encounter with Jesus Christ that led to my conversion after years of being involved in six secret societies. Two, my knowledge of the Bible, God’s Word. Three, my encounter with late Papa Benson Idahosa, under who l answered the call to Ministry, served, grew and was tutored by him. Four, my encounter with late Olumba Olumba Obu during my secondary school days and the days of my backsliding and political sojourn and fraternity with Chief Bishop Ebenezer Isokrari a protégé of Olumba Olumba Obu. Who at a point ordained me an Elder of the fraternity. This was my past. I now lived by the faith in the Son of God Jesus Christ who lived, died and rose again, ascended to heaven and is coming back again very soon to take the believed living in light of eternity home to God in new heaven.

Titus chapter three cited above in particular verses two through to verse five says: “To slander or abuse or speak evil of no one, to avoid being contentious, to be forbearing (yielding, gentle, and conciliatory), and to show unqualified courtesy toward everybody. For we also were once thoughtless and senseless, obstinate and disobedient, deluded and misled; [we too were once] slaves to all sorts of cravings and pleasures, wasting our days in malice and jealousy and envy, hateful (hated, detestable) and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving-kindness of God our Savior to man [as man] appeared, He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Which He poured out [so] richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior.” Benedict Chukwuemeka is in error in his confession about late Archbishop Benson Idahosa’s membership of Brotherhood and Star, that he got his power from Olumba Olumba Obu and that late Idahosa was killed because of his disobedience to Olumba Olumba Obu on the hosting of world witches council meeting in Benin City.

The Bible passage say don’t speak evil of any man. Two, a person in error will speak evil and slander others out of malice, jealousy and hate because such person as the Scripture say is thoughtless, obstinate, disobedient, deluded and misled – a heretic not abiding on Scriptural truth. That is what Benedict Chukwuemeka is going through. He is yet to be purged of the deceptions that enslaved in Brotherhood and Star of Olumba Olumba Obu. His confessions are not in tandem with Bible teaching. I was before in zeal of my experiences with the occult world and powers thought that some of those experiences l had in those occultism, six secret societies including under Olumba Olumba Obu were real. When after conversion l went through Bible training, l realized those experiences and occultic phenomenon were indeed are deceptions that the devil makes you believed. What you go through in occultic witchcraft and Satan’ domain of operations are not true but Satan’s ways means to enslaved, ensnare and keep you captive to the belief that he is powerful and in control to dispense powers that he doesn’t have.

Satan operates by deception, lying wonders and false knowledge and experiences. None of what Benedict Chukwuemeka is saying concerning late Archbishop Benson Idahosa is true. Late Benson Idahosa never had private personal or spiritual involvement with late Olumba Olumba Obu who died many years ago. And still being believed that he is alive. Olumba Olumba Obu image is being manipulated by occultic phenomena to appear and project his reality through astral projections as being real both physical and in dreams and their sanctum/demonic temples or coven. If Olumba Olumba Obu is alive l challenge him, let him appear physically in a televised medium that people will see. His son now acts in representative form physically. When Oulumba Olumba Obu was alive, late Benson Idahosa had a crusade in Calabar the vicinity of Olumba Olumba Obu operations, Papa Idahosa at the crusade challenged Olumba Olumba Obu to come out if he was somebody of what he claims a God. Olumba Olumba Obu then alive never did. Where was Benedict Chukwuemeka?

When the world witches council planned and failed to hold their meeting in Benin because late Benson Idahosa challenged and overturned and stopped the meeting that was duly reported by the media worldwide where was Benedict Chukwuemeka?

Here is the reportage of the event: “The Witches and Wizards Conference. [PG 13] Written by: Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa. Produced by: Idahosa World Outreach. [This is a true life experience of the writer]. Several years ago, all the witches in the world met in Chicago, and at that meeting, they took a decision to hold their first world conference in Africa. And do you know exactly where they decided the meeting should he held? My city: Benin-City, Nigeria! Their chief host held a press conference, granted our media network interview and informed them with pride that the first universal conference of witches and wizards would be held in Benin City. They told me. I said what? They said a world conference of witches. I asked where? They said, in Benin-City, my city where I live. I told them that it could not be true because it was NOT possible.

Shout Halleluiah! If I be a man of God! It was not possible, it was not true, could not be true! The press asked what was not possible? I told them that witches from the world over could not come to Benin-City. Then they asked what I would do to them if they came. I answered that I would kill them all. They then called on the proposed chief host and told him, "Dr. Benson Idahosa says your world conference of witches cannot hold in Benin-City." Responding he said, "Not even God can stop it." He boasted that he was a wizard, and he knew their power. Our national dailies carried this information on their front pages to the effect that the chief host of Witches and Wizards conference says not even God could stop the conference!

The press hurried to me to report that the chief host had said not even God could stop it. I said he was correct. They said what? I told them that God did not need to waste His time stopping witches from coming to Benin-City for a conference."That is why I am here. The Lord does not need to consider matters as trivial as the stopping of the conference of witches."

On how late Benson Idahosa died and the message he preached before he died. Benedict Chukwuemeka is in error. No evil powers not even the dead Olumba Olumba Obu killed him. Late Oulumba Olumba Obu never had such power talk of the power of God that operated through late Archbvishop Benson Idahosa that set many occultic and former Olumba Olumba Obu members free from the kingdom of darkness. He had premonition of his death confined in his Son. Dr. Feb Idahosa. Few days before he died, he preached a message entitled “The Benefit of death” now also in book form and tapes. He was having guests from Oral Roberts University USA with him in the house. He excused himself to go to Miracle Centre his Church office prayed with different segment of people at the Church, Office and including the Bible School students before he went back to meet his guests. At the table with them he took “pure heaven” juice after making a statement about going to heaven he sat saying thank you Jesus and there he was discovered to have gone to heaven.

Here is the reportage of the message he preached and how he died in an interview with the press by the wife, Archbishop Margaret Idahosa: “How Archbishop Idahosa died – Wife On April 20, 2010 • In Viewpoint 5:27 pm By Sam Eyoboka IN March 1998, Archbishop Benson Idahosa, the flambouyant founder of Church of God Mission International Incorporated died and left his wife, Margaret Idahosa and four children behind. Here, the wife and the first female Pentecostal Archbishop in Africa recounts the last moments of her husband and how she had coped with bereavement. Excerpts… She described his death like this:

"He gave instruction to all the members of the team and they were all glued to him! After a while a gentle breeze was blowing and everybody set their gaze on him. He was saying thank you Jesus and those on the table thought he was praying and they all closed their eyes and started saying thank you Jesus along with him but suddenly they did not hear anything again and one of the team members opened his eyes and found out that archbishop was gone. They tried all they could to revive him but he was gone. He was not sick. He never had high blood pressure. He was never down. Each time we came back from foreign trips doctors were always there to take our blood pressure. I was the one that was the sick once. Even the doctors were surprised that he died because he was not sick at all.”

“The Benefits of death - That was the last message he preached to the women. He preached also at the Bible School before he went to lunch with a team from Oral Roberts University.

He gave instruction to all the members of the team and they were all glued to him! Even the doctors were surprised that he died because he was not sick at all.” Before his death Bishop Idahosa is said to have established over 6000 churches throughout Nigeria and Ghana. Many pastors in the country today have sat under the teaching of this great man of God. His proteges includes: Ayo Oritsejafor, David Oyedepo, Felix Omobude, Fred Addo, Chris Oyakhilome and many others. He also ordained Bishop Kola Onaolapo as a bishop. He has affiliations with universal preachers like, Billy Graham, T.L Osborn, Kenneth Hagin, Benny Hinn, Reinherd Bonke, Morris Cerullo, Oral Roberts

Who is late Benson Idahosa? Benson Andrew Idahosa (September 11, 1938 - March 12, 1998) affectionately called PAPA or BA by his followers, was a Charismatic Pentecostal preacher, and founder of the Church of God Mission International with headquarters in Benin City, Nigeria (1). As the first Pentecostal archbishop in Nigeria, he was renowned for his robust faith. T. L. Osborn remarked on him as the greatest African ambassador of the apostolic Christian faith to the world (3). Benson Idahosa lived from 1938 to 1998. He was the Founder and President of the Church of God Mission International Inc Nigeria, President, All Nations for Christ Bible Institute; President, Idahosa World Outreach Ministries; President, Faith Medical Center; Founder, Faith Mediplex; Word of Faith Group of Schools, and Founder Benson Idahosa University. Benson Andrew Idahosa was born in Ewasso Edo on September 11 1938 to a poor pagan family of Pa John Idahosa. Benson Idahosa was a very sickly child, fainted very regularly and when he was eighteen months old his father ordered that he be dumped in a refuse dump-site about hundred yards away from their mud house because he no longer had hope that young Idahosa would live because of constant very serious illnesses.

Report says about three hours after he had been left in the dump site; there was great thunder and lightning, followed by a heavy downpour. Young Benson's cry, pleading to be brought back home, made his mother have compassion over him. She went to rescue the little boy, disregarding the instruction of his father not to bring him back to the house.

Benson Idahosa later started his primary school education at the age of eight years in spite of the setbacks and obstacles caused by lack of finance; he attended the Salvation Army and graduated in 1952, then went to Owo Methodist School in Ondo State where he lived with a relative. He picked up a sales boy job with the Bata Shoe Company and with the fund was able to obtain a Diploma in Business Administration and later a Higher Diploma in Office Management. One afternoon while playing football with his peers, Benson Idahosa was preached to by a pastor who converted him to Christ. He became a member of the pastor’s church and at 24 years he began his ministry work after his pastor one day preached to the members of the church about Jesus telling his disciples how they have the power to heal the sick and even raise the dead.

With great passion and determination to follow the instructions of Christ, Idahosa led by faith and enthusiasm and strong believe in God Almighty, willing to test his faith went about the city of Benin in search of any dead person to bring back to life. That day Benson Idahosa raised a dead three years old girl from dead following the procedure used by Jesus in the Book of Matthew in the New Testament of the Bible. The following week he raised an eight year old boy from the dead and that was the beginning of his ministry. While preaching in Benny Hinn's church in Texas, Bishop Idahosa said, God has used him to raise 8 people from dead in his life time. He has since proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ until his death in 1998. Bishop Benson Idahosa obtained a doctorate in Divinity in 1981 from Word of Faith College New Orleans, Doctor of Law from Oral Roberts University in March 1984, Associate of practical Theology, Masters in Church Administration and PhD in Theology. He established the Redemption Television Ministry with potential viewing audience of 50 million people. He was married to Arch Bishop Margaret Idahosa and blessed with four children. Quotes by Idahosa: “Living a daily life of absolute faith in God is the only secret to great success" Benson Idahosa. "If someone spends time studying the Bible and acting on it, people will come looking for that person for life solutions" Bishop Idahosa.

Contrary to Benedict Chukwuemeka’s assertions, late Benson Idahosa was not involved with late Olumba Olumba Obu, received no powers from him. Late Papa Idahosa never preached on “The consequences of Death” as claimed by Benedict Chukwuemeka rather late Idahosa preached on “The benefits of death”. He never died after preaching at the Church rather among his guests in his house as can be seen from the reportage. Benedict Chukwuemeka assertions and supposed confessions are wrong. It is a deception by the devil to misled the faithful and Christians who have been richly blessed by the ministry of late Archbishop Idahosa. Who have seen or heard of any that late Olumba Olumba Obu cured, healed and delivered from the powers of darkness? Ho have been helped and prospered by late Olumba Olumba Obu? Except to make people go poor, wretched and go on bear foot. Here was a man sent from God, destroyed strongholds of Satan in Benin, stopped world council of witches meeting from holding, delivered the oppressed, taught on the ways of God that prospered and made many rich. Today his products and protégés are demonstrating the likes of his ministry making many healthy and prosperous through God’s Word and deeds.

Please don’t be hoodwinked by the error and falsehood so called confessions by Benedict Chukwuemeka because l am a witness. I was also confessing terrible things that happened by the powers of Satan before l got converted and learn from the Bible the true experiences that will take you to heaven and make you a better person. I had to destroy my books of confessions when l learnt the truth from Bible School. I wrote another to correct these errors that Benedict Chukwuemeka is going about making entitled: “Demonic Deceptions, Christians Beware”. Late Benson Idahosa died on March 12, 1998 when l was coming out with posters l carried in my hands of a meeting that l was to host him as the then Chairman, Rumuokwuta Zone of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Rivers State. The likes of Benedict Chukwuemaka cannot deceive me as he is already working in deception.
