About 30Million- 40Million Would Be Spent To Bury Junior Pope From The River: Man In Viral Video Says

Many Nigeriana are still in grief over the sudden passage of actor, Junior Pope due to a boat mishap. The late actor was on his way to a movie production in Anam River, Anambra state, before he was unfortunately involved in a boat accident.

Recall that after the initial announcement of actor's death in the early hours of Wednesday, 10th April, 2024, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas stated that the actor was now alive. Shockingly, in the late hours of Wednesday, Emeka Rollas revealed that the actor was dead after two hospitals tried to resuscitate him.

Due to the fact that the actor's death was due to a boat mishap and the late actor belongs to the Igbo tribe of Nigeria, his tradition demands that he is to be buried in the river which is a tug of war between his family.

In light of this, a man revealed in a video which has now shaken the internet, that the late actor's family will have to spend about N30 million to N40 million to evade from the actor being buried in the river.

According to the now viral video, the man could be seen saying;

“Jnr Pope’s family might spend N30Million - N40Million to perform some traditional rites before they will be able to Bury him anywhere else. Because according to tradition anyone who passed away by drowning in a river can’t be buried outside that river.”
