I Can't Step Out Without Bra---Shirley Igwe

Nollywood actress, Shirley Igwe, is one actress who has tried to maintain a scandal free life and as issues might want to come up about her, she ensures that she ignores it in every way she can.

The actress who was recently in Lagos for the just concluded AFRIFF, which came to a close over the weekend in Lagos, while speaking with Nollywoodgists.com about some parts of her career and personality stated that she is just an easy going person who does not have strength for troubles.

Being one of the fortunate ones who have tasted modeling for some time, the actress disclosed that she has never been caught in web of any agent demanding anything from her as the Grace of God saw her through without any hindrance.

Who is the most interesting person you have ever met?

That will be my parents because they have played a great importance in my life.

Destination you will like to have nice relaxation?

I will pick Paris again because I have been there and it was lovely

What were the hurdles you had to scale through as a model?

I actually did not have any hurdles to scale through. I just came, took photos, where I took photos, I met some agents who thought my photos were beautiful and they presented it to advertising agencies and that was modeling for me.

There is this perception that you use what you have to get what you want, did that played out for you?

No. I don't know how people do what they do but for me, I never had such experience from agent or anybody. So I'm speaking for myself because it was hard work for me. It was the Grace of God because I just submit my pictures and they say they want this person and I come I shoot and I am off.

Why is a vibrant lady like you still waiting for with good career but not married yet?

I feel God's time is the best. Nothing is holding me, I just feel God's time is the best

What is your favourite fashion outfit?

I like wearing anything that is good on me that will just make me feel comfortable.

There is this obvious trend in fashion with women going out to events without bra, how do you ladies feel?

(laughs) Well, have you ever seen me going out without bra? (laughs)Look at me now, imagine me going out without bra, what would you think; I honestly have my bra on so I can't do that.

What about some ladies that do that?

I don't know, but I feel it depends on their b00bs size. Their b00bs size might just be 4 or so. If their b00bs is so big they might not need to wear bra. But that is for them but for me, I can't go even come out my bedroom without bra (laughs).

Broken homes now common with entertainers, could it be because of the female's job or they are earning more than the man, what is your opinion on that?

I wonder how that happens because I love homes, I'm a homely person and I don't think anything can stand between my job and my home. My home first because I don't know how they really get to do that, that they allow their home to hang for me it one just have to strike a balance rather than abandon their home.

You are very passionate about your career; can you sacrifice your career for a sustainable home?

I can't abandon my career but I will try to manage it. But when I get to the bridge I will know how to cross it.

You have this baby looks, are you sure you can pound crayfish?

Of course I can pound food stuffs now, don't mind my looks.

How about cooking local dishes and not buying of fast foods?

I cook all kinds of dishes; you can't stand me in the kitchen o.
