I Really Don’t Care About My Dad—Ella Mensah

Nollywood and Ghanaian actress, Ella Mensah, has done well for herself since venturing into acting some years back and that has earned her several awards for her hard works.

Despite her success in her career, Ella, seems not to feel anything for her father whom she never knew was a very wealthy fellow until when she was 19 years of age.

She stated that despite not growing with her father, she never lacked anything because her mother was able to provide enough for her and when she came in contact with her father, she only appreciated him and left.

Ella noted that she cannot stay a day without talking to her mum but can stay a whole month without talking to her father and will never be bothered.

Speaking with Sun newspaper about her life, she said, “I didn't feel anything. I didn't feel he was absent because my mom played her role very well and it was beautiful. What I said was 'finally I have met you and I'm happy.' And that was it. We talk once in a while but I can't stay or do without talking to my mom every day but I can stay a whole month without talking to dad and I'm not bothered. I think that's because of how we started. However, I respect him and I love him too; I have my own kind of special love for him and appreciate him, but my mom is like my refuge.”
