The evening of 11th July 2015 at the Kensington Close Hotel London, United Kingdom was a memorable one. It was the 10th Anniversary of PACEWORKING. PACEWORKING is a prominent business network organization based in the United Kingdom known with organizing high profile events like Charity Fund-raising, Conferences, Seminars and Shows. The Organization's CEO Bar Seye AINA who is the Organiser of the event set up the establishment which inspires the acronym P.A.C.E i.e PROMOTE, ADVERTISE, CONNECT & EMPOWER decides that the year 2015 which represents its 10th anniversary will see to the needs of METHODIST HIGH SCHOOL LAGOS and the DOWN SYNDROME FOUNDATION.
This became a reality with the help of Abuja based Entrepreneur and Humanitarian who is also the CEO Femaz Microfinance Bank Mrs Sandra Ikoku Chidinma NWUGO alongside famous United Nations & Sports Ambassador John Fashanu and Nigeria’s Sensational Dazzling Television Paragon and Peace/Goodwill/Tourism Ambassador, Rachel Bakam.
The event was complemented by a fashion show and Award Presentation which saw Mrs Sandra Ikoku Chidinma Nwugo receive the award of EXCELLENCE IN BUSINESS & SUPPORT OF COMMUNITY PROJECT, while Amb. John Fashanu was made the INTERNATIONAL AMBASSADOR OF DOWN SYNDROME. Amb. Rachel recieved the award of EXCELLENCE IN MEDIA, LEADERSHIP & FOR FOUNDING THE NIGERIAN WATER SKI & WAKEBOARD FEDERATION
It is not a fresh news that Mrs Nwugo has been engaged in so many humanitarian project such as the Establishment ofEsther Zion Orphanage , Abuja , Nigeria, Human Capital Development Through her Femaz Microfinance Bank, Media Campaign for support to vulnerable children as seen in her movie “REVELATION” e.t.c. All these according to MRS Nwugo are ways of attracting God’s blessing for success in business.
Amb. Rachel Bakam and Amb John Fashanu who are astute Television Personalities are known with their projects of talent exploration, empowerment and entertainment via Globetrotting Expeditions known as Fash Football Challenge, Rachel The Piper. Presently, they are joining heads and will soon release a BLOCKBUSTER TELEVISION PROGRAMME 'KEEP WINNING WITH FASH AND RACHEL THE PIPER'. Rachel is also known to be the founder of the famous Nigerian Water Ski And Wakeboard Federation (NWWF) and Producer/Presenter TRENDS & RACHEL and Hausa version YANAYIN ZAMANI da RACHEL.
The Trio are honoured yet again at the Prestigious African Achievers Award on Saturday 25th July, 2015 at the Santon Convention Centre Johannesburg South Africa. Amb Rachel is honored with a special Africa Achievers Award MEDIA & TOURISM Award while Mrs Sandra as FASTEST GROWING ENTERPRENEUR while Amb Fashanu will be in attendance as a CELEBRITY ROLE MODEL.
