Fayrouz L’original 2 Completes First Audition At University Of Ibadan

The International Conference Center, University of Ibadan, was pack full on the 15th and 16th of May with thousands of excited students of University of Ibadan and young residents of the beautiful historic city to witness participants of the second edition of Fayrouz L’Original competition, the fashion and lifestyle competition sponsored by Fayrouz, the premium natural soft drink from Nigerian Breweries Plc. The participants came all out to wow the judges with their fashion innovations.
The Fayrouz L'Original 2 auditions jury made up of owner of Mai Atafo Inspired line, Mai Atafo, prolific designer, Kunbi Oyelese of April by Kunbi, ace photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi and National Retail Artiste House of Tara Rhema Akabuogu were blown away by the amazing display of the young talents.
One of the contending teams Team Rebirth couldn’t hold back their excitement, "We sincerely hope they like what we have to offer and we pray we emerge winners of the Ibadan auditions because we are looking forward to move on to the next stage " a representative of the team shared.
On their experience in Ibadan, Mai Atafo said " Ibadan was interesting , we saw some very creative concepts and we are looking forward to exploring talents in the other locations very soon"
The Fayrouz L'Original 2 audition train will make its next stop at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State and University of Nigeria Enugu on the 29th and 30th before stopping at University of Lagos on the 5th and 6th of June 2015.
Billed to hold next month in Obudu, Cross Rivers State, the semi final stage will have winners of the regional auditions battle head to head and secure slots in the grand finale holding in July, 2015.
The winning team stands a chance of winning N4Million while the first runner up will be rewarded with N1Million. Finalists will also go home with consolation prizes including Apple Macbook laptops and professional cameras.
The competition kicked off last year and produced winner, Team Elan who have gone ahead to showcase at several fashion shows alongside other popular designers including Mai Atafo, April By Kunbi,Deola Sagoe and others. Get regular updates on Fayrouz L'Original 2 HERE
