When Governor Adams Oshiomhole married his foreign wife some days back, mixed reactions trail the event which was kept under the most shroud secrecy ever witnessed in Nigeria.

But comedian, Wale Gates' comments about the couple was not appreciated by Nigerians as he had joked about beautiful ladies reading in school or 'anything' will 'climb' them with a picture of the couple.

Almost immediately Nigerians lashed the comedian for his insensitive comments as the comedian also replied these comments with his own version of stinging attacks.

Among the reactions, a certain popular socialite, 'Lagos Gbajumo' was credited with an attack on Wale Gates and the comedian did not waste time before sending retorts of his own at the supposed socialite.

Now the comedian has publicly apologized for insulting the original 'Lagos Gbajumo' who has since disassociated himself from the insult on Wale Gates.

The comedian said, "Anyway, it has come to my attention the Lagos Gbajumo that posted the insulting message is not the known @LagosGbajumo in Nigeria. This is a fake account in his name, I hear which is sad fot whoever set it up.

"I thought I should clear the real Lagos Gbajumo of any abuse he has gotten, I sorry."

He, also had jibes at the fake account holder, "To the impostor/fake account runner: Everything you said is true but when I chose this style (my comedy), I never expected it to bring me great wealth anyway so I am happy.

"Secondly, I am happy for the success of everyone in the business, ask them they know I do not envy of them. The sky is big enough for everyone (every bird) to fly is my view."
