As the war commences on the eradication of piracy in Nollywood, more Nollywood personnels are joining in the campaign as Yemi Shodimu led a group concerned stakeholders on a solidarity walk.

However, Nigerian ace comedian, Alibaba, has lent his voice to the eradiction and campaign against piracy.

He said, " When I raised this issue at critical meetings, I was asked, "Are you an actor?' The results are out. There is a popular African saying about throwing stones in the market.."

The funny man reminded those affected about his initial warnings but he was rebuked to mind his business.

"Let me repeat (paraphrase more like) what some stakeholders told me. 'Alibaba, you do not know our business more than us. We need funding. Once we get funded, we will create distribution channels, we will engage in capacity building. We will build more film villages. We will improve the quality of our movies. We will encrypt our DVDs. We can beat the pirates at their game," he said.

He also made a joke at them when he mentioned another Nollywood producer who had taken his side when he was warning them back then.

"I am sure Amaka Igwe will be laughing like right now I am laughing. Intellectual Imbeciles" he added
