Teenager Caught Romancing Mentally Deranged Woman

One of Nigeria's social crusader and singer, Charles Oputa better known as Charly Boy, has disclosed that he regrets some of his past attitudes anytime he reflects over his past actions.

According to the singer, he was not always able to control his anger and easily flares up at any slightest provocation. “Yes, I was once short-fused; blowing off at the slightest provocation. It was pitiful.”

The singer who was speaking about domestic violence pointed that some men see it as duty for them just to prove a point that they are the head of the family with claims that their wives are always the ones that trigger the beast in them.

The Area Fada as fans call him noted that he is always tempted at times to beat his wife but he has been able to grow past such scenario and had to practice the style of keeping quiet and walking away.

In his words, “Even though I have cured myself of my short fuse, i still get tempted from time to time. What works best for me now is silence. I go and lock myself in my room and will never utter a word to my lady until am sure am in control of my faculties. Since many months ago, I have discovered that this is a very effective option in dealing with a very bad temper.”

He urged men that rather than stand to respond to their wives utterances, it would be better if they walk away until they are able to control themselves.
