4 Nigerians Nabbed For Selling Hard Drugs To Movie Director

Four Nigerians have been apprehended in India for allegedly involving themselves in the sale of cocaine.

According to Business Standard, the Nigerians; Rotimi Olusola Kehinde alias Sola, Samson, Uzor Promise Chukwudi and Attoh Bosha Kelvin, were nabbed by police in the country after a tip-off.

Two other persons were arrested by the police; a film director named Anugu Shushanth Reddy and a businessman called Panasa Ravi Kumar.

The reputable Indian newspaper reports that the suspects “allegedly consumed drugs and about 90gms of cocaine, 400gms of ganja seized from them” and “six mobile phones, Rs 10,000 in cash and two Nigerian passports” were seized from the suspects.

“Two other Nigerians also allegedly involved in drug-peddling, identified as Victor and Patric, are absconding,” Business Standard reports.

“All the four Nigerians arrested today (Wednesday) and the two absconding were earlier also held in similar cases,” the paper added.

It was reported that Sola and the other Nigerians were supplying the drugs to the Telugu film acots at a high price.

“Shushanth Reddy, the director of yet-to-be-released Telugu flick 'Superstar Kidnap', received cocaine at Rs 5,000 per gram for personal consumption,” the police was quoted in the report.
