My Only Regret About My Mother’s Death—Yoruba Actress, Toyin Adewale Reveals

Last year, popular Yoruba actress, Toyin Adewale lost her mother, Chief Mrs. S.A Odobonojo, to the cold hands of death. The prolific actress was the deceased's only child, having been childless for many years after her (mother) marriage.

When the aged woman died, Toyin in faraway United States of America (USA) on a vacation. According to her, she travelled to the Barak Obama-led country to rest after having busy periods in Nigeria.

Speaking with Nollywoodgists.com recently in an interview, the talented script-interpreter said she was very close to her late mother.

Toyin said she would have loved her mother died in her arms.

"I actually went on vacation because I was over stressed when I was in Nigeria. So, I decided to take a break. It was while I was there that I lost my mum. I felt seriously bad because I have always wanted my mother to die on my hands, but it was rather unfortunate because I wasn't around when she died. I thank God my families were around and it was as good like I was around too," she told Nollywoodgists.com.

She added that, "I am her only child and my mum really suffered a lot to have me, she was a mother in a million."
