Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has discredited viral publications that her new movie, 'Silence' which talks about child abuse was actually a flop.

According to reports, the viewing of Silence recorded a low turnout which allegedly led to the Silverbird Cinemas management to compel Iyabo Ojo to shift the viewing schedules in favour of another film in the same hall.

The actress told Encomium magazine that those saying the movie was a flop and recorded low turnout are actually people that has not watched the movie.

To further prove that the movie has been gaining commendations from fans, the actress displayed the message she received from a fan who applauded the effort she had put together in coming out with such a movie. “Your movie was so touching, a perfect example of you in the movie is me but I bless God I'm better.”

The movie which was premiered alongside Beyond Disability, also produced by Iyabo Ojo on Sunday, December 21, 2014, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, has the likes of veteran actor, Alex Osifo, Ronke Ojo, Joseph Benjamin, Fathia Balogun and many other casts.
