After going public in his verbal attack on the presidential candidate of the All Peoples Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, gospel artiste, Sammie Okposo, has made another public utterance and this time around, he (Sammie) is eating his words in an apology to the same man.

Okposo had berated the result released by the Government College, Katsina State for the 'forgery' he had allegedly discovered, asking for the aspirant to be flogged in a post he shared on Thursday.

In the public apology post, Sammie said:

"I deeply apologise to GMB (General Mauhammadu Buhari) 4 saying he should be flogged. He is old enough to be my father. I shouldn't have disrespected. I'm sorry, GMB.

"I deeply apologise to GMB 4 joining to accuse him for perjury and forgery. I'm sorry GMB.

"To all who were offended with my uncomplementary remark about GMB, I apologise. I'm deeply sorry."

The offensive post had been greeted with angry replies from his critic who had blasted Okposo for disrespecting someone who could be has old enough as his father.

Some others had reminded him of being a Christian gospel artiste who is supposed to honour elderly ones as found in the Christian holy scriptures, The Holy Bible.
