Nigerian-British born actor, David Oyelowo and the cast for Oscar nominated film, 'Selma' are reported planning to visit Nigeria on the invitation of a talk at the House on the Rock church pastored by Pastor Paul Adefarasin.

The Nigerian at 24 years of age became the first black to play the role of the king in a major Shakespeare's production back in the days when he was casted for the role of RSC's Henry VI among his other roles he has acted.

Young David had been schooled in the military school in Lagos where discipline was instilled to respect teachers and when he relocated with his parents to Islington, London, he was exposed to a rude cultural shock in which students were abusive in language with the teachers.

His acting career began when he had a chance meeting with his A-level theatre-studies teacher at the Holloway Tube Station who told him, "David, I wouldn't say this to everyone, but I really think you could have a career as an actor." and David went on to get a scholarship into the drama school at Lamda to the delight of his father.

Selma tells of the story of the months in the live legendary Martin Luther King Jr leading to the Voting Rights Acts in 1965 which had the sorting of the discrimination of the blacks from voting despite violent opposition.
