Rita Edmund Recounts Close Shave With Death After Ghastly Accident In Lagos (Photos)

“In a split second it was all over. It happened because I was trying to avoid collision with the vehicle to my left and then things happened so fast," that was exactly how budding singer, Rita Edmond, narrated her narrow escape from death while returning from a function in Lagos.

The singer cheated death as she survived a ghastly car crash that damaged her Acura MDX SUV. It was learnt that the accident occurred at the Opebi Link bridge, Ikeja, Lagos.

Grateful Rita Edmund who has been linked to a romance with Rapper, Phyno is said to be thanking her starts after that horrific encounter.

“The accident happened in a flash on the Opebi Link bridge, Lagos.” A grateful Rita recounted.

“I am more than grateful God kept me alive because the damage on my vehicle cannot be reconciled with the minor injuries I sustained. It's just God's mercy that kept and protected me.

I sustained injuries but I am recovering fast. The orthopedic surgeon says the x-ray result looks unbelievably good and that I'll recover sooner than I think so I am hoping and praying for a speedy recovery,” Edmond said.

The songstress also used the opportunity to appreciate and thank all her fans and colleagues for all the love showered on her and assured she is recuperating and would soon be back on her feet.
