Monica Ene Ogah, without mincing words, has carved a niche for herself in the Nigerian music industry after hitting the limelight in 2011 with her emergence as the second female winner of MTN Project Fame West Africa.

Miss Ogah may be one of the hottest promising stars in the showbiz world now, but she's missing a University degree.

Findings revealed that she dropped out of school when she couldn't meet up with her academic demands as a 100 level Nursing student of Benue State University.

This eventually prompted her decision to opt out of school to concentrate more on her music career.

According to an insider; "Monica was in the School of Nursing at the Benue State University; she had already spent about a year and was supposed to write her examination before she came for Project Fame.

"While in Project Fame Academy, she missed out on a lot of things and when she finally returned to school to continue with her studies, the school management advised her to start afresh since the kind of course she put in for is complicated to just tag along.

"But she declined their proposal and throw in the towel.

"Ever since, she's been pursuing her musical career with no plan to further her education," the source, who claimed to be in the know, squealed.

Some other Nigerian celebrities who also dropped out of school are 2Face, D'Banj and Wizkid.
