How 9ice Was Knocked Off The Primaries

The only entertainer who has succeeded in getting to the next level of the 2015 elections so far is Desmond Elliot, who won his Primaries. Others haven't been that lucky.

9ice has also lost his APC Primaries for Ogbomosho North/Ogbomosho South/Orire Federal Constituency. He lost to Prince Akeem Oyewunmi.

Abolore Akande better known as 9ice, managed a total number of 142 votes while Akeem reportedly got a total of 270 votes. It is a fatal blow to the singer's plan to represent his people at the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja.

With the loss of his party's ticket, the Gongo Aso star has joined other entertainers like Kate Henshaw, Kenny Saint Best and Dayo Adeneye who all lost out at their respective parties' primaries.
