Earlier in the year, a new law in Nigeria, signed by the president without announcement, has made it illegal for gay people to even hold a meeting. The Same S*x Marriage Prohibition Act also criminalizes homosexual clubs, associations and organizations, with penalties of up to 14 years in jail.

With this law coming into existence, many have kicked against it to the extent of the United States of America threatening to sanction Nigeria. Against all odds, the law still stands and has made Some Nigerian gays already to have fled the country because of intolerance of their sexual persuasion, and more are considering leaving.

Airing his opinion on this lingering issue, popular singer, Olalekan Fadeyi, popularly known as Azadus, who is well known for hit songs, such as 'Madam', 'Sodiyen' and 'U is the one,' has thrown his displeasure about same s*x marriages.

Azadus stated that same s*x marriage is not demonic but the spirit that people with mental disorder believe in. “Homosexuality is no demonic, it is a demon that insane people worship its self.”

According to him, “Same sex marriage or sexual relationships is normal in most part of the west is normal lol... Soon it will be legal between man and dog or pig.”

Though he might be silent and hardly seen on the screen, but he is still relevant in the industry as he pitches his tent more at the Industry Nite, in Lagos.

“Why won't you be gay after eating D most from Dat apple? Publicly pronouncing your allegiance to d devil is expected. A bad turn deserves another,” he said.
