This is definitely not the best of time for one of the richest female Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Princess Florence Ita Giwa as the fall out of the superlative wedding of her “daughter” which gulped almost a hundred million Naira is far from being palatable.

According to one of her friends who spoke to National Enquirer, had the powerful politician known, maybe she shouldn't have had this kind of fanfare heralding Koko's wedding as we learnt the outcome has started haunting her.

Top on the list of her recent troubles is the damning confessions from some of her friends who honoured her for the party, we gathered most of them have vowed never to attend any of her events no more owing to the demeaning reception and embarrassing situations they were put at.

National Enquirer gathered reliably that, most of the friends of the Senator that honoured her for the daughter's wedding went home hungry as they couldn't but leave in annoyance when food and drinks were not forthcoming at the reception as at 9pm or even more. It was that worst that, society woman, Daisy Danjuma had to come to the rescue of others as she ordered foods and drinks from her pocket to safe face at the wedding touted to have guzzled N100m.

An impeccable source who's close to the “bride's mother” and saw the bottom of the pot however disclosed to National Enquirer the reason why Senator Ita Giwa was not in sight for hours even whilst her friends were starving away at the Eko hotel venue of the supposed lavish reception.

According to the source, Senator Ita Giwa had kept herself busy somewhere making calls and pressing buttons trying to hoodwink President Jonathan who was coincidentally in Lagos for the PDP rally to attend her daughter's marriage which was a stone throw from the reception, but all her efforts were to no avail as the C-i-C and his wife, Dame Patience shunned her deliberately, and instead, they sent the Minister of Water Resources, in person of Sarah Ochukpe to stand in for them, and this was inspite of her several visits to Aso Rock and the many Aso Ebi she delivered before the wedding.

What made the wedding reception a shattered episode was her standing instruction that, no one should dare serve anything to anybody without her approval, thus leaving the people in charge to a predicament when guests were hungry because no one was ready to smell her wrath except for her god daughter, Ndidi Obioha who got the lashes of her life for being too loyal.

Some of these high flying society ladies, Hajia Bola Shagaya, Sen. Joy Emordi, Stella Okoli, Mo Abudu, Daisy Danjuma, Abike Dabiri, Kema Chikwe, Doyin Abiola, Shade Okoya, Grace Egbagbe to mention but a few will not forget the embarrassing moments of the Ita Giwa's daughter's wedding in a hurry, in fact, they'll have to think twice when next she's inviting them for any occasion.

But while the Senator's friends are leaking their wounds, the other set of people that got the bad side of the oppression are the groom's family who were mercilessly ridiculed. The groom, Chimaobi Shawcross Obioha Jr , his mum, Evelyn and the rest of the Obiohas were treated with so much contempt and aside the fact that, they were not attended to, the Obiohas were almost schemed out in the scale of things at the wedding.

We were told that on their own, the Obiohas are also influential and comfortable, the family's breadwinner, Chimaobi's late grand dad who was nicknamed Shawcross by his friends was a popular auto and haulage merchant who had houses in Ikoyi, Lagos where his family still lives, and to give more credence to their influence, their son, Chimaobi is a proud graduate of a prestigious University in United Kingdom where he met Ita Giwa's controversial daughter, Kokoeba.

The Obiohas are so hurt right now that they've resolved at compelling the bride, Kokoeba to go back to her biological mother if she really wants the marriage otherwise they'll be forced to get their son to walk out on her. There are quite long tales of oppression and derision which the family have been subjected to from Ita Giwa based on this wedding and we gathered the Obiohas are people of high values and integrity, they're said to have began a move to make contact with Koko's real mother in order to re-unite them.

We shall serve you the interesting and sympathetic story of the life and birth of Kokoeba and her twin sister as well as the Obiohas' subsequent line of thought in our next edition. Keep a date.
