I Never Stopped Acting Because of Movie Quality……..Segun Arinze

Nollywood actor, Segun Arinze, has debunked claims about him saying he took a break from acting because the movies shot were not of quality.
Segun explained that not that the movies were not of quality, but he needed quality producers to work with.

According to him, good producers are those people that understands what production is all about and knows how bring out the best in a script.

“I didn't say it was because of the quality. I said if I wanted to do something I would have to work with people who are quality- conscious. Everybody has their own standard. You are as good as your last movie. I want to work with producers who know their onions,” he noted.

The actor further explained that the reason why some producers do not have good works is that the passion is there but no finance to get the best into the production.

“It is given that all over the world every movie industry has its own share of below- average productions or producers. Sometimes the blame is not on them. Sometimes the passion is there, but there is no finance. Everything boils down to budget. If you don't have a commiserate budget for your ideas, even the loftiest ideas would be meagerly treated. Some of these people have the ideas but they do not have the collateral to access funds,” he pointed
