AGN President, Ibinabo Visit To President Jonathan Is not Mistake: Steve Eboh

Popular Nollywood actor and producer, Steve Eboh, has come out to appreciate the visit of the current Actors Guild Of Nigeria (AGN), President Ibinabo Fiberesima over her visit with other actors to the Presidency in Aso Rock Villa.

The actor In an interview, acknowledge the steps taken by the AGN to visit President Goodluck Jonathan, saying that it was for the growth of the industry as the president has also contributed to the development of the movie industry.

“I congratulate president of the Guild Ibinabo Fiberesima for organizing the visit and for installing President Jonathan as the grand patron of the guild. I have no doubt that he deserves the honour. Whoever is criticizing the visit is misinformed.”

According to Steve, in August 7, 2005, the AGN paid a courtesy call to President Olusegun obansanjo because of his support for the industry and he was installed a grand patron. So, sees nothing wrong if the same was done to the current President.

“In fact, President Jonathan has done a lot for the actors. He instituted the entertainment fund, he also has appointed our coleagues into boards; he sure deserves the recognitions given him by the guild.”
