How My Friend Organised People To R@pe Me—Serena Joseph

Winner of Miss Ambassador for Peace South West Nigeria 2014/2015, Serena Amarachukwu Joseph, has expressed that she would like to join Kick Against Rape or Anti Sexual Violence Campaign against women in the country.

The Ambassador for Peace explained that the reason why she would like to be part of such associations is because she has witnessed the hard side of life especially when she was raped at the age of 21.

Recalling her traumatic ordeal, she stated that she would not like to give details about it because she was setup by a friend and has managed to keep that part out of her life.

Speaking with National Daily, “I had a very though upbringing. Growing up was tough. There was a point I was raped by someone. Many years ago, it was a sad thing and I won't give details, because I have blocked that part out of my life. It was traumatic and I came out bleeding, bruises all over my hand while trying to escape. It was a setup. A friend did that. I will really love to join the Kick Against Rape or Anti Sexual Violence Campaign, Women Abuse. I really want to join hands with NGOs like that to help stop all these things.”
