Polls Fallout: 2 Men Divorce Wives For Voting APC Two women in Kaduna State incurred the wrath of their husbands for choosing to vote for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the last general elections.

The two middle age men (name witheld) of Kaninkon community in Jema'a Local government Area of the State divorced their wives after the last Saturday gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections.

The two men, LEADERSHIP gathered, are members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

A resident of Koninkon community said it was the first time since 1999 that the area was experiencing a different voting pattern.

Mr. Mock Kure, a native of the area, also confirmed that the women were divorced for also carrying out a political campaign in the community, and convincing the people to change their voting pattern.

Kure said: “I don't want to talk about those that were cut with knives or bottles. These instances too need prayers for God's healing. We also want the security agencies to take note.

Other findings also revealed that a young man sent his aged mother out of his house because she voted for APC in the last election.

“Simply because she voted for APC, her son sent her out of his house,” said Kure

Efforts to speak to the men concerned were abortive as they refused to admit or deny the report.
