I Used ‘Shoki’ Song to Make Money…….Orezi

Recently, the Nigerian youths and some other countries have been creating all forms of dance which is immediately accepted by many. Currently, 'Shoki' dance step and song is gradually gaining ground in Nigeria as it been danced by many and sang by few.

The song was first heard from YBNL artiste, Lil Kesh and later from Orezi then Teckno and B-Red. But tongues have been wagging about the real originator of the song as people keep attacking Orezi for doing the song after Lil Kesh has had sang about 'Shoki.'

Well, to clear the air about the song, singer, Esegine Allen, better known as Orezi has revealed that he only decided to use 'Shoki' song to make money and does not care about anything attach to it.

According to him, nobody owns the song because it was just a street boy who started the dance and he only decided to make it popular.

He added that 'Shoki' is a trend and believes everybody has right to recreate or do a song with it.

Meanwhile, the singer has been placed alongside Dance hall singer, Patoranking, Runtown, Skales and pop singer, Yemi Alade in the Next rated category of prestigious award, 'The Headies.'
