“Others Are In Trouble" – Paul Okoye Warns Afrobeats Singers

Popular Nigerian music executive, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Paul O has sounded a note of warning to Afrobeat singers, as he stated that this year won't be an easy one for them.

The music executive took to Instagram to reveal this, he stated that only Davido and Burna Boy are lucky, while the other artistes are on the verge of real struggle as they are unable to sell tickets for shows, which is as a result of the hike in the ticket prices.

He wrote ;
“2024 will be a tough year for Afrobeat!!! Apart from 2 artists this year, Burnaboy and Davido, they did a few shows.

“Others are in trouble, either they are overpriced or tickets are not selling.

“Hmmmm, Let us not do what happened to Reggae musicians. Reduce Your Prices. Just think, how many shows you did this year?”
