Social Media Critic Brutally Shades Wizkid After Throwing Jibes At Colleagues

By Oluwarantimi Oludase

Popular Nigerian singer, Ayo Balogun, best known as Wizkid, has been subjected to immense online criticism over his recent jibe at his colleague Don Jazzy and Davido.

Recall that Wizkid labelled Don Jazzy an “influencer," while he posted a video of Davido crying while begging a model for sex, he captioned it with “beg me like this” in response to his fans clamour for the release of his new album" Morayo.”

The singer's actions has received criticisms from many on social media, though his fans have remained solidly behind him. However, one person who has not kept quiet since Wizkid's jibe at his colleagues is social media critic, Daniel Regha.

Daniel Regha has taken it upon himself to criticize Wizkid by citing many instances of him being irrelevant, yet throwing jibes at his colleagues just to push his forthcoming album. Since Wizkid made the tweet on X this morning, Daniel Regha has kept on commenting about it.

His latest tweet reads thus;
"Don Jazzy helped flourish the careers of D'banj, Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Rema, Johnny Drille, Ladipoe, & many others.

-Olamide championed Adekunkle Gold, Lil Kesh, Asake, Fireboy, just to name a few.

-Davido is helping a few upcomers like Mayorkun build up their career; Same with M.I who elevated artistes like Blaqbonez. But the question is, besides posting on IG stories, who has W!zkid made a success in the music industry?”
